Dont Listen to Media, Just Focus on Job-Hunting
It is a tough time to find jobs in UK market. There are people out there who are still trying to find a job. This unstable market now has become a hot topic for media to get the attention of people and convince them with different news that there are not enough jobs in the market.. Looking at one of The Telegraph titles makes the previous sentences clearer: Unemployment to hit 17-year high in 2011, warns CIPD,. I don’t believe that these types of news are not true, But I still think media make them worse.
It is important not to be affected much by what you hear from media and keep your focus on your job-hunting plan.. While you are searching for a job, you need to only hear things that build your confidence. Well, this is not the only thing you should focus on, be realistic and accept the fact that in a competitive market you should work harder on your skills compared to your competitors to be able to get the result you want.
Have it in mind that some job markets are more competitive than the others and therefore, you should be ready to try harder to find jobs in those.. For instance, finding jobs in London is difficult than looking for Manchester job vacancies. there are some general skills whereas for some field there are certain skills. being a perfect candidate for finance jobs needs people who are good at math whereas a sales person should have communication skills. So , Keep thinking positive and be realistic and you will find your dream job soon.
